sometimes i like cooking. sadly, due to the autism, i have a really select palette, and thus i have taken to developing and editing my own recipes for whenever i want to cook something instead of either relying on fast food or not eating at all. i dunno if these will be useful to anyone else, but i figured i'd type them anyways instead of submitting them to based.cooking.
this is something that i've cooked up on occasion when i just need something simple as balls to eat and don't want to properly Cook something. it's also the only vegetarian thing i know how to cook, so um... yeah.
ingredients:
step one: cook the bag of rice. it has instructions on that bag, u can generally follow those.
step two: cook the beans. u should strain them first by putting them in the strainer and washing them with water until the bubbles stop showing up. put them in the tupperware, lid partially put on, and cook them for, iirc, about a minute. it will depend on your microwave, though, so use personal judgement.
step three: mix the rice and beans together, alongside a bit of olive oil and your spices. the olive oil should help with the dryness, but make sure not to use too much.
step four: cook further if you need to, probably between 15 and 30 seconds to make sure it's nice and warm. enjoy(?)
